Baby Registry Part 1: Which Registry Do I Use?

Hi, Mommies!  Now that I'm almost six months it's time to work on my baby registry.  I've actually been itching to start it, but didn't really want to start picking things out until I was sure of what I was having. According to my latest ultrasound, we are expecting a bouncing baby boy!  Yay!  Now on to the shopping...

Now, I haven't shopped for a baby in a long time so I was clueless on how to start.  Sure I know I'm going to need tons of diapers and clothes but the more I researched the How Tos and 101s of Baby Registry, I realized I needed some help.  I was leaving out a lot of basics and new to me things.  Hey it's been almost eleven years since I've had a baby so I had to reeducate.  So if you are like me and need a little help, there are a billion and one suggestions to be googled.  If you need some pointers, I've got a few resources listed at the bottom of this post.

Creating  a registry seemed simple enough, but the big question was where in the world I wanted to shop.  With a little more research, I came up with three stores.  Yeah, yeah, three sounds like a lot but I wanted to cover all my bases and give my shoppers a variety.

The most popular suggestion had to be Babies R Us, of course.  Now to me, the store has an uber selection of cute baby stuff even if some of the items are a bit pricey.  But I found out that I get 10% off everything not purchased on my list. How cool is that?

Second choice was Target.  Personally,  I'm not a real Target shopper, but I have found quite a lot of things there that I don't see in other stores and it came highly recommended by my shower planner.  Most of the items I want are affordable so I'm willing to give them a try.

Third choice had to be my fav place in the whole world.  Yes, you guessed it-Walmart.  Everyone shops there so I had to create a registry.  I know that I will be able to find everything I need and things that I don't need but want.

Now that I've selected my registries, stay tuned to find out how each trip goes.  Will it be as easy I think it will be or will I run into a few snags along the way.  We'll see just how fun this registry business is going to be...
