Despite that one obstacle, I did find a lot of items that I haven't seen in other stores so that was a plus. Another plus was that it was relatively easy to start the registry. I had actually gone online and created a registry so all I had to do was go to the kiosk, print out my starter list, hand it to the customer service rep, and she handled me the scanner.
At first the scanner was a little tough to use and it took some getting use to. Later I found out that it had a low battery so that was the reason it was acting wonking. So for about an hour or two (mostly because I like to touch everything in the store) I tooled around and scanned a lot of good items. Personally, I didn't feel the need to scan any clothing items because I feel like people are going to buy baby clothes anyway, so I stuck to items like play yards, high chairs, bottles, and stuff like that. Now if I saw an outfit that was just too cute, of course you know I had to scan it just in case someone loved me enough to get it. LOL!
Once I finished, I turned my scanner in and printed out my new registry. I know I'm lame, but it was an exciting experience. I was also excited to receive my free gift. I love getting stuff even if the stuff really wasn't for me. The Baby Starter Kit was a cute diaper clutch with a few samples, $75 worth of coupons, and some helpful registry tips. Check out the pix below and stay tuned for my next registry outing. Next stop, Babies R Us....
